    De meeste spam op mijn weblog komt van grootschalige botnetspammers. Het verbaasde mij dan ook enigszins de volgende Nederlandse spam in mijn comments te vinden, compleet met verwijzingen naar een .nl domein:

  • PPTPD / Ubuntu troubles

    Another one in the series “messing around until I got it right”…

    I wanted to get access to the local network at my parents house to manage computers using remote desktop. Now it is quite simple to tunnel IP traffic over a SSH connection, but I wanted proper access to the network.   • Cisco SSH access and bruteforce attempts

    Today I had an annoying attack on my Cisco 851W router. Some (likely) compromised computer in Laos was trying to bruteforce my SSH access wich I have open to the Internet for monitoring purposes.   • Configuring the Cisco 851W Ethernet router

    A couple of days ago the Cisco 851w router I ordered was delivered. I purchased this device because my old wireless router, a Netgear WGR614v6 was having a hard time with the many NAT entries caused by the increased amount of (wireless) users.
